Our complete line of high-performance automotive fasteners and attachment tapes include pressure-sensitive 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tapes and 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tapes for exterior component attachment, as well as heat-activated 3M™ Sealing and Weatherstrip Attachment Tapes. Our automotive attachment tapes offer exceptional adhesion and stress relaxation properties, resistance to degradation from environmental conditions and plasticizers, outstanding initial adhesion, adhesion build and excellent long-term performance.

In addition to attachment tapes, we offer a wide selection of 3M™ Dual Lock™ Reclosable Fasteners designed to secure automotive interior and exterior trim surfaces. Our automotive fasteners are an ideal attachment alternative to screws and hidden fasteners that often create installation and alignment issues.

3M also offers a full line of adhesion promoters to help ensure that tapes adhere well to various plastics, a wide variety of paint systems, including low surface energy and improved scratch- and mar-resistant paints, and other substrates. We also have wire harness tapes and nameplate tapes for specialized applications, and equipment to assist in processing tape effectively in manufacturing environments.
