3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape EX4515, Black, 1.5 mm

3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape EX4515 is designed for attaching exterior automotive trim to painted automotive surfaces. It features a 1.5 mm acrylic foam core that delivers excellent stress relaxation under high loads, and maintains good bond lines under normal conditions. An acrylic adhesive applied to both sides is formulated for excellent initial and final tack to medium surface energy (MSE) substrates.

Designed specifically for attaching plastic parts to automotive paint surfaces, 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape EX4515, Black, 1.5 mm is great for challenging surfaces. It features a 1.5 mm acrylic foam core with an acrylic adhesive applied to both sides. This adhesive delivers excellent initial and final tack to traditional, and scratch- and mar-resistant automotive paints. It is especially effective on MSE plastics such as ABS and polycarbonate (PC) — it can even be used to bond to MSE substrates without an adhesion promoter. The viscoelastic foam core is engineered for stress relaxation when exposed to high stress loads, and maintains bond line aesthetics under normal stress loads. Its deep black color delivers excellent bond lines and helps to ensure high satisfaction among consumers. A red, 3M-branded liner provides easy one-piece release for efficient application.
