Whether shielding delicate parts from heat and moisture, sealing gaps, splicing or masking, 3M Aluminum Foil Tape 425 provides secure protection against exposure to flame, weathering, moisture and UV. Composed of a dead soft aluminum foil backing and coated with pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive, it’s capable of withstanding exposures from -65° to 300°F (-54° to 149°C). It also resists chemicals, yet removes cleanly, making it perfect for protecting surfaces during de-paint and other chemical masking operations.

Our 3M™ Aluminum Foil Tape 427 is the go-to foil tape for numerous applications across a broad range of industries. Comprised of a dead soft aluminum foil backing with a highly engineered pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive, it is ideal for heat shielding, heat reflecting, chemical masking, light enhancement, chemical milling, seaming, sealing and de-paint operations.

Thin, stretchable and extremely conformable, 3M™ Vinyl Tape 471+ is excellent for applications requiring sharp, fine paint lines and ideal for aircraft striping and livery. This paint masking tape is formulated to hold stretched positions without allowing bleed-through, and removes cleanly without ghosting, even after 30-minute bake cycles up to 250°F/121°C.

3M engineered this wide protective plastic sheeting with a light static cling that keeps it in place. This makes it easy to cut and very easy to handle – in fact, it’s possible for one person to apply it without assistance. This sheeting also features center printing to help with alignment. Specially treated film holds solvent and waterborne paints, preventing overspray from landing on nearby surfaces for cleaner work and better work environment.
