3M is excited to announce a strategic collaboration to transform the landscape of printing regulated and non-regulated traffic signs. This fully certified printing solution combines the power of 3M, Canon Production Printing and SA International (SAi), and encompasses printer, ink, software and reflective sheeting and overlay films – all backed by the trusted 3M™ MCS™ Warranty for Traffic.

The Canon Colorado M-Traffic Digital Print Solution with SAi Flexi Complete 3M Authorized Traffic Edition software is fully qualified for use with 3M reflective sheeting and overlay films. It can produce seven regulated traffic colors for adherence to relevant regulations – making it a modern, cost-effective upgrade or complement to existing digital sign printing equipment across the world. Features and benefits include:

This strategic collaboration combines global expertise in transportation safety and reflective sign sheeting, imaging, digital printing and software solutions. It includes:
3M Company. Our full range of reflective sign sheeting and overlay film solutions includes 3M™ Diamond Grade™ Reflective Sign Sheeting, which meets the ASTM D4956 standard for Type XI retroreflective sheeting. Our 3M MCS Warranty for Traffic covers retroreflectivity retention and guaranteed traffic colors for up to 12 years from the date of manufacture.
Canon Production Printing. The Canon Colorado M-Traffic Digital Print Solution forms the core of the collaboration. It is built on the robust Colorado M-series platform and features a 1.6m (64-inch) roll-to-roll design powered by patented UVgel technology. Canon Uvgel offers a wide color range, odorless ink, and instant drying at low temperatures. Canon is a global leader in consumer and professional imaging.
SA International (SAi). The SAi Flexi Complete 3M Authorized Traffic Edition software is specifically designed for producing print regulated and non-regulated traffic signs.It includes the Flexi Production Manager, built on a robust 64-bit RIP with a straightforward interface for easier production even on traditionally difficult-to-print jobs. A suite of color management tools allows for quick color replacement, map spot colors, ICC profiles and more.
