  • Power Tools

    These tools for effective cutting, grinding and sanding are sized specifically for body repair. Each is consistently lightweight, and all capture a range of 3M designs – a slightly slanted head that’s easier on the wrists, precision-balanced motors for reduced vibration, a rotatable housing for versatility in tight spaces – to make your work faster, more efficient and more comfortable.

  • Sanding Blocks

    3M knows the reason why you sand by hand. These sanding blocks, file shoes, interface pads and more have been developed specifically for applying abrasives consistently and intuitively, even in hard-to-reach spaces. Many are available with hook-and-loop backing for 3M™ Hookit™ abrasives, or to accept adhesive-backed Stikit™ abrasives that press on quickly and remove without residue.

  • Total Automotive Sanding System

    This complete system does much more than just improve your sanding – it improves your entire shop. It is built around a HEPA-certified mobile dust extractor which attaches directly to a selection of premium power sanding tools. It collects sanding dust as it’s generated, virtually eliminating it from the floors and the air of your shop. A series of connectible containers, shelves, trays and accessories helps you stay organized as well as mobile. The Total Automotive Sanding System is designed for use with 3M™ Cubitron™ II abrasives.

  • 3M™ File Belt Sander

    3M builds all the reliability of our heavy metalworking tools into a nimble sander sized specifically for the collision repair shop. This 18” file belt sander features a .65 horsepower motor, excellent for body repair work. The narrow-profile tool weighs just 2 lb. and features a rotatable housing for excellent maneuverability in small spaces such as between door panels. The sander is ideal for use with 3M™ Cubitron™ II file belts on jobs including hem flange removal and surface prep, and in many cases it can even replace a spot weld drill.
