These abrasive discs and foam sheets are the premiere choice for fine-grade finishing in collision repair. Trizact microreplicated mineral structures provide precise finish control, and continually expose fresh abrasive as it wears for long life.

Our selection of buffing compounds is formulated for removing stains, oxidation and sand scratches, creating an ideal surface for polishing with minimal sling. It features our smooth-handling Perfect-It™ EX AC Rubbing Compound for all coatings.

3M polishes and finishing glazes can really bring out the shine on painted surfaces. Our 3M™ Perfect-It™ EX Machine Polish and Ultrafine Machine Polish remove compound swirl marks even on black vehicles to produce truly outstanding finishes.

Trizact™ 8000 removes very fine defects in painted surfaces, taking the place of compounding to increase your business efficiency. Follow with our specially formulated 3M™ Perfect-It™ 1-Step Finishing Material and purple 3M™ Perfect-It™ 1-Step Foam Finishing Pad, which deliver the cut of compounding with the fine finish of polishing.

For those who prefer to compound, our classic 3M™ Perfect-It™ Paint Finishing System offers products for every stage of the paint finishing process. From defect removal with 1500-grade 3M™ Trizact™ Hookit™ Foam Abrasive Discs to compounding with Perfect-It™ EX AC Rubbing Compound and swirl removal with 3M™ Perfect-It™ EX Machine Polish, our classic system will leave a refined finish on all painted surfaces.

3M™ Trizact™ Abrasives have always provided faster, more effective results in the paint finishing repair process. Now we offer 3M™ Trizact™ in an 8000 grade, an incredibly fine grade that’s available to paint repair professionals for the first time ever. Trizact™ 8000 produces a unique conformed scratch pattern, and the abrasive is so fine it easily performs the work of compounding – refining and removing micro scratches to prep the painted surfaces for a deep rich finish.

Developed exclusively for the 1-Step system, our Finishing Material combines the refined cut of a compound with the fine finish of a polish. After sanding with 3M™ Trizact™ 8000, use 1-Step Finishing Material and Foam Finishing Pad to polish your paint surface to a rich glossy shine. The specially formulated combination of cutting and polishing action works on the ultra micro-fine scratch pattern of Trizact™ 8000 to produce our deepest, glossiest finish yet.

An essential final component of our 1-Step system, the new purple Foam Finishing Pad is a hybrid of our white compounding pad and blue polishing pad – combining the firmness of the white pad with the softness of the blue pad. Its dual cut-and-polish action works with 1-Step Finishing Material to leave a flawless deep gloss. Available in various sizes and with Quick Connect or 3M™ Hookit™ attachment for quick and easy pad changes, our 1-Step Foam Finishing Pad helps make compound-free paint finishing a reality.
