3M™ Round, Shielded/Jacketed, Flat Cable, 3659 Series is a 28 AWG stranded wire cable on a 0.050” pitch, suitable for a wide range of applications. Dual PVC/PVC insulation and metal layer shielding helps provide 35db average shielding effectiveness and limits cross talk. 3M cable 3659 series construction maximizes multi-directional flexibility for easy routing and efficient cable management in areas with limited cross-sectional space. The jacketing also helps protect the wires from the elements, making it excellent for external box-to-box applications.
Flat ribbon cable configuration makes for easy termination to a broad line of IDC connectors. The primary cable is zippable for branching or discrete terminations. The 3M cable 3659 series is available with a continuous repeating split/bond construction that allows for mass termination on approximate 2.4” center. This shielded flat cable meets external wiring requirements of the National Electrical Code, Article 725 (CL2). It is ROHS compliant and UL Listed for USA and Canada.
