Note: Do not use 3M™ Self-Stick Liquid Protection Fabric over fresh coatings or plasticized vinyls, like vinyl boat seats.

Q: What is the best way to apply 3M™ Self-Stick Liquid Protection Fabric?
A: For best results, the substrate needs to be clean and dry. Waterborne cleaners will remove natural contaminants from the surface, and solvent cleaners can remove oils. Once the surface is clean and dry, lay down the protection fabric. Try not to trap any air underneath it. Then, use a spreader or a push broom to press down the adhesive.

Q: Can I use 3M™ Self-Stick Liquid Protection Fabric in a flammable or explosive environment?
A: 3M™ Self-Stick Liquid Protection Fabric should not be used when explosive concentrations of ignitable materials are present. Provide mechanical ventilation to disperse or exhaust ignitable vapors and dust in accordance with good industrial hygiene practice.
