Why were you interested in interning for 3M and this program specifically?
3M has the traits I was looking for in a company and potential employer: professional growth opportunities, an established reputation and an innovative company culture. Frontline is a program with a great reputation and opportunities in a professional field (analytics/data science) where I wanted to gain experience.

Describe the project you worked on in your internship.
For my internship project, I focused on using prescriptive and predictive analytics to improve and automate a sales forecasting model. I was able to apply and grow my statistical knowledge and analytical skills.

What did you learn from these projects that you didn’t know before?
I learned the coding languages SQL and R, which has inspired me to learn other programming or statistical languages.

What do you think sets 3M apart from other internships or work experience you have had?
I was impressed by the level of training during orientation and the resources Frontline gives the interns to set them up for success. I always felt like I had support from my supervisors and the Frontline leaders to be successful.

What was the most memorable part of your internship?
I enjoyed the daily challenges I was tasked with for my project; additionally, I met incredible people through the program in my fellow interns and advocates of the Frontline program.
