3M™ Versaflo™ TR-800 Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) blower Replacement

3M Personal Safety Division has identified that certain 3M™ Versaflo™ TR-800 PAPR blowers manufactured between September 2024 and April 2025 may contain a component that could cause them to not conform to their Intrinsic Safety (IS) rating.

To date, there have been no reported complaints, incidents, or returned TR-800 PAPRs, and 3M considers the risk of an adverse IS event to be low. However, out of an abundance of caution, 3M advises that users with affected products stop using them in IS required locations or atmospheres.

Due to this, we are sending out this Stop Use and Recall / Replace notice so the select 3M™ Versaflo™ TR-800 PAPR blowers are removed from service.
