      The 3M™ Steri-Vac™ GS Series service app improves ease of product use, saves paper, energy, and water, and greatly reduces greenhouse gas emissions.

      The 3M Steri-Vac GS Series service app is an interactive app to support the launch of the 3M Steri-Vac GS Series Sterilizer/Aerator. The application helps 3M Certified Service providers professionally troubleshoot issues with the Steri-Vac GS Sterilizer/Aerator by guiding technicians through a series of questions to help identify the most likely point of failure. It can also recommend replacement parts and has access to video and images for additional support. This results in faster and easier resolution and helps get 3M customers back up and running faster.

      The 3M Steri-Vac GS Series service app improves the ease of use for personnel and also provides a reduction in the environmental impact. Starting in 2016 with the launch of the app, annual paper savings were over 100 pounds. This paper savings results in 2 million BTUs of energy and 1,320 gallons of water saved.1 In addition to the paper savings, there’s a reduction in CO2 emissions from less international travel. Before development of the service app, 3M personnel had to travel extensively to train using a printed paper manual. The 3M Steri-Vac GS Series service app is more user friendly allowing for far less international travel. In 2016, 23.65 metric tons of CO2 emissions were saved.2
