Yes, the 3M™ Pattern Marketplace is a browser-based platform. To engage with the platform, you will need a stable internet connection.
For optimal functionality, the following is recommended for using the 3M™ Pattern Marketplace:

There are a few options for how you can obtain access to patterns on the 3M™ Pattern Marketplace:
1. Purchase a Monthly Subscription which provides access to all 3M patterns
2. Purchase unlimited access to a single pattern by clicking Unlimited Access on a pattern tile in the marketplace
3. Purchase short-term access to a single pattern by clicking 7-day Access on a pattern tile in the marketplace
A valid credit card is required for any of these purchasing options.
Your access to 3M Patterns will be provided once you set up your subscription option, credit card and payment is accepted through the Digital River payment provider. Digital River is a transactional partner for 3M who facilitates payments for subscriptions and patterns on the 3M™ Pattern Marketplace.

The 3M Technical Support team will continue to help support many other plotter brands that use HPGL, GPGL or other communication languages but there is no guarantee for a successful set up experience. Additionally, based on the plotter connection type used (USB, Network, Bluetooth, Serial, Serial to USB, other/unknown) there still may be technical troubleshooting required to finalize the cutting experience.
Please make sure to set up the Cut Agent and your plotter(s) when you register on the site to determine plotter compatibility.

Our 3M development team, including our digital product managers will provide release notes in the system as we continue to release new enhancements, features and improvements, most of which will not require your action since the platform is cloud-based the system will be automatically updated. Also, any minor or manor updates will include a message pop up when you log in. Look for an email from 3M about the upcoming 2024 future features that we have planned.
