A recent study conducted by the Cleveland VA Medical Center’s Research and Development Committee examined the accuracy of chemical dilutions in several different hospitals. The study found that nine of out ten hospitals that used dilutable disinfectants had one or more malfunctioning dispensers. Furthermore, 27% of the dispensers observed produced an output with lower-than-expected concentrations, including 14% of them with no detectable disinfectant.
