Greetings from 3M Flemington
History of 3M Flemington
3M Flemington's manufacturing facility is a member of the 3M Infection Prevention Division within our Health Care business. The plant, formerly known as PyMaH Corporation, was founded in 1969 to manufacture a more accurate blood pressure cuff. Over the years the company added plants in Somerville, New Jersey; Athy, Ireland; Fairfield, New Jersey; and North Hollywood, California. At the same time the company expanded its' product line to include single-use clinical thermometers, sterilization integrators and some industrial products.
On October 1st, 1996 PyMaH was acquired by 3M. Today, the Flemington plant is a 204,000 square foot facility.

The town of Flemington, New Jersey, is located in rural Hunterdon County not far from where the Delaware River forms the border between New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Known internationally as a glass and pottery craft center, Flemington is also home of the famous Flemington Fur Company. History buffs remember Flemington as the location of the 1935 “Trial of the Century”, where Bruno Richard Hauptmann was tried, convicted and sentenced to death for the kidnapping and murder of aviator Charles Lindbergh's infant son.
The arts and theater, farms, county and state parks, wineries, horse raising, fishing and hot air ballooning all abound in Hunterdon County. Nearby are many historical sites, dating from the Revolutionary War and earlier. Visit the picturesque campus of Princeton University. Rutgers University is only 30 minutes away. Visitors can be in New York City in just over an hour or in Philadelphia in about an hour.
