3M™ 8096 Series Cold Shrink Resin Mine and Portable Cable Splice Kit with flame retardant compound 2131 is designed for splicing SHD GC, MPF GC and MPF non shielded cables that are 5 to 15 kV rated. It provides splicing on draglines, power shovels, drills, type MPF underground power feeder cables and select trailing cables.

The 3M™ Scotchcast™ Mine and Portable Cable Splice Kit contains two 3M™ Funnels, three EPDM Rubber 3M™ Cold Shrink Insulator Assemblies, one 3M™ Wrap-Around Splice Mold, one roll of Scotch® Super 33+™ Vinyl Electrical Tape, two 3M™ Rubber Mold Straps, two rolls of Scotch® Electrical Shielding Tape 24, two 3M™ Funnel Supports, one 3M™ Cable Cleaning Preparation Kit, three 3M™ Spacer Webs, one roll of Scotch® Electrical Semi-Conducting Tape 13, one strip of 3M™ Three-M-Ite Elek-Tro-Cut Abrasive Cloth - 80J Grit, one roll of Scotch® Linerless Rubber Splicing Tape 130C, six 3M™ Size C Bags, 3M™ Scotchcast™ Flame-Retardant Compound 2131, and one Instruction Sheet.
