3M™ Twin Axial PCI Express Extender Assemblies Gen 5.0 8KDx Series are on the way, bringing speed up to 32 GT/s per lane and bandwidth up to 64GB/s for a x16 to the latest system designs. Ideal for PCIe® (85 ohm) 5.0 applications, these 3M extenders feature flexible, foldable thin twin axial ribbon cables that can be folded back on themselves at extremely tight bend radii. This makes for extremely versatile routing – you can fold the cable into compact custom configurations, and replace retimer chips or high loss PCB materials with twin axial cable. Precision-formed, continuously laminated shields over entire flat cables maintains high-bandwidth, resonance-free signal integrity at Gen 5.0 speed.
