3M™ UV Activated Film 81025 is a UV-activated and curable film with semi-structural strength but handles like a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA). Delivered between two polyester silicone release liners, this clear, slightly yellow film creates precise bonds with very little shrinkage while ensuring good bond line visual appearance. 3M™ UV Activated Films and Tapes combines the benefits of three different bonding technologies into one powerful adhesive. They provide stronger bonds than standard tapes; they’re easier to apply than liquid adhesives; and they activate with light, unlike heat-activated films. Prior to UV activation, these films and tapes are stable and tacky at room temperature and can be easily converted into precision die-cut parts.
