3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT0400T

3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT0400T is an automotive trim adhesive tape designed for robust performance even to complex contours and automotive paint surfaces. It features two adhesives, one on each side of a 0.4 mm thick acrylic foam core.

Formulated with acrylic adhesives, 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT0400T provides high adhesive build rates and excellent adhesion to metal and plastic parts. It comes with a single-sided silicone coating for tabbing with a secondary liner. The conformable closed-cell acrylic foam core delivers excellent stress relaxation under load. With its dark gray color, this tape helps maintain bond line aesthetics under normal stress loads. For optimal performance, an adhesion promoter is recommended for tape-to-part adhesion on plastic parts.
