3M™ Electrically Conductive Single-Sided Tape 1050TC Series is an XYZ-axis electrically conductive pressure sensitive adhesive (CPSA) tape that helps enable devices to meet electromagnetic compatibility requirements. It consists of a conductive copper foil backing, conductive acrylic adhesive layer and a polyester (PET) release liner. This copper tape provides excellent XYZ-axis-based conductivity, reliable contacts to small-size grounding areas, and excellent EMI shielding and electrical reliability over time. The thin product construction is ideal for applications with less Z-space. It offers high adhesion for a one-sided thin tape, and good grounding performance to many surface types.

    Vivid electronic displays use chip on flex (COF) when the display driver is mounted directly to a FPC. COF speeds up the display response time as it shortens the signal path, but it leaves the COF vulnerable to EMI.
