3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape 5567, Gray, 1.52 mm

3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape 5567, Gray, 1.52 mm is an automotive attachment tape for attaching exterior trim and other parts to traditional automotive paints and modern clearcoat systems. It features two adhesives, one on each side of a 1.52 mm acrylic foam core. The liner-side adhesive is formulated for very high initial and final adhesion to automotive paint systems. The non-liner-side adhesive is excellent for plastics and other common trim materials. The thick foam core is for conformability and stress relaxation even when applied to complex contours.

Featuring a gray, 1.52 mm acrylic foam core with two different adhesives, 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape 5567, Gray, 1.52 mm, helps deliver effective bonding. The liner-side adhesive is formulated for very high initial and final adhesion to a range of automotive paint systems, including rigid clearcoats. The non-liner-side adhesive is excellent for bonding to automotive trim and other components. The viscoelastic foam core conforms well even to complex geometries. This automotive trim adhesive delivers stress relaxation when exposed to high stress loads and maintains bond line aesthetics under normal stress loads. The gray color gives a pleasing bond line aesthetic, while a red, 3M-branded liner provides easy one-piece release for efficient application. Use with 3M™ Adhesion Promoter for tape-to-part adhesion on all parts, especially plastics such as RIM, TPO, PPO, PP and PC.
