3M™ ACCR conductor is available in a round-wire construction composed of a multi-strand, aluminum-matrix core surrounded by aluminum-zirconium outer wires that are round in shape. Round-wire, the most commonly used transmission conductor construction, frequently offers the largest capacity increase because of its low weight.
