Helping keep drivers calm, cool and connected. Panoramic sunroofs and highly contoured glass are gaining popularity. These beautiful designs bring more light into the cabin. Solar-grade glass helps keep passengers and their pets cooler when exterior temperatures rise.
Automotive glazing films from 3M contain proprietary multilayer optical film (MOF) technology to reflect unwanted solar radiation away from a vehicle. Our MOF technology contains no metals so there will be no electromagnetic interference (EMI) or corrosion from these films. Films conform well to common automotive glass shapes, are primed for proper adhesion to PVB interlayers and are a printable substrate for graphics or blackout regions.
