3Mᵀᴹ PROTECTA® Rope Adjuster Recall

As part of 3M Fall Protection’s on-going commitment to delivering high quality safety equipment, we are notifying our customers of the following recall related to the 3MTM PROTECTA® Rope Adjuster. A low percentage of these rope adjusters have a direction-of-use indicator label that is placed in the wrong direction. In the event of a fall from height, a rope adjuster used in the wrong direction may not arrest the fall and could result in serious injury or death to the worker. To remedy this situation, 3M is launching a Product Recall to replace any rope adjusters that have a direction- of-use label pointing in the wrong direction.
