Thank you for partnering with us to fight counterfeit products. Knockoffs likely have not been tested, are not certified and cannot be guaranteed to perform as promised. This can pose serious risks.

Real products mean real protection. Here’s an easy way to validate your 3M products.

Follow the 3M Safe Guard™ process.

  • Diagram of where to find the unique 10-digit code on the bottom of the product box.
    Find the codes.

On the bottom of the product box, just under the bar code or on the roll, you’ll see a 10-digit secure code and a 6-digit lot code. Both codes should be entered into the corresponding fields on the validation website.

  • Screenshot of the two fields where the secure code and lot code are entered within the 3M Safe Guard authentication process.
    Enter the codes.

Enter your codes here. A green checkmark means the product is genuine. A yellow or red symbol indicates that your product may be counterfeit.

  • A signed product box shows that the product has been validated and is genuine 3M.
    Mark the product as validated.

Initial and date the package or roll to let your employees know they are being protected by a genuine 3M product.
