Highlights
  • One-piece cold shrink termination
  • High dielectric-constant material regulates the distribution of electric field stress
  • Suitable for outdoor, weather exposed applications
  • Silicone rubber insulation is track-resistance and hydrophobic
  • Silicone cold shrink application provides constant radial pressure, "living seal"
  • Withstands voltages of 5 to 15kV and is 110 kV BIL-rated
  • Meets IEEE Standard 48, Class 1 for outdoor, weather-exposed applications

3M™ Cold Shrink QT II 5600 & 5680 Series Termination Kit includes a 4 skirt, 1 piece termination. It ensures a pliable, tight seal for concentric neutral cables. The conjunction of high dielectric constant material and silicone rubber insulation allows the termination to withstand voltages of 5 to 15kV.

The 3M™ Cold Shrink QT-II Outdoor Termination Kits 5600 and 5680 contain one-piece silicone rubber terminations designed for concentric neutral (CN) cable. They meet the requirements of IEEE Standard 48, for Class 1 terminations. The 3M termination consists of a high dielectric-constant (High-K) stress control tube insulated with a molded silicone skirted insulator
