3M™ Cold Shrink QT III 7640 T HSG & 7650 T HSG Series Termination Kit includes a non skirted, 1 piece termination. It ensures a pliable, tight seal for tape shield and longitudinally corrugated shield power cables. The conjunction of high dielectric constant material and sealing compounds allows the termination to withstand voltages of 5 to 35kV.

Each kit contains sufficient quantities of material to make one single-phase termination for high fault current cables. The termination assemblies consist of a tubular insulator, high dielectric constant (Hi-K) stress control tube, conformable Hi-K stress controlling compound, and built-in environmental top seal. The insulator is made of a dark gray silicone rubber with advanced tracking resistant and hydrophobic properties. Note: Lugs need to be ordered separately. Exceptions: For T-150 Kits, 150 kV impulse level meets the impulse requirements for 35 kV class equipment where indoor terminations are used.
