Very versatile - a must have tool.
The 3M™ Hand-Masker™ is the most used tool I own. No matter what your painting or staining, the M3000 masker is essential to getting quick professional results. It is very easy to set up and use, and with the adjustable cutting blade, you pick the type and size of tape and protective film needed to complete your project. It really is a must have.

The Gold Standard
The M3000 Hand-Masker is the gold standard for masking within the painting industry. I'm in disbelief that there are painters still out there that are unaware of this tool, or refuse to use it. This tool may just be the single greatest investment you can make to be more efficient with your time spent masking and protecting surfaces. It makes masking quick, easy, and enjoyable. This product is near flawless, with the only potential improvement being a safer and easier way to install and remove the tear blade.

Light weight and covers and protects quickly.
This tool is indispensable for masking and protecting when painting or for dust protection. It is light weight and easy to install pre-folded plastic or paper for covering and protecting when painting. I like the multi-purpose hook which hangs on my belt which frees up both my hands to tack down the masking film. It allows me to work alone and prep for painting quickly.

Time saver
3M sent this to me to try out. As a professional painter I couldn't survive without one of these. Just put on the appropriate blade for plastic or paper and you are set. You can get the plastic in different sizes and this lets you tear off the needed width. The amount of time this saves is way worth the cost.
