The 3M™ Scott™ C5-632 Bayonet Adapter enables firefighters, law enforcement, military, and other first responders to securely attach a wide range of 3M cartridges and filters to their existing 3M™ Scott™ Vision C5 facepiece. Designed for use across a variety of applications, the adapter may be suitable for arson investigation, post-incident overhaul, and tactical response when paired with the appropriate cartridge or filter.
Building on 3M’s trusted respiratory protection portfolio, the 3M™ Scott™ C5-632 Bayonet Adapter gives emergency responders the flexibility to adjust their protection from SCBA to lighter and less cumbersome cartridges and filters. This allows emergency responders the ability to adapt to changing conditions, from active fire suppression or tactical and technical response to post-incident overhaul and arson investigation. Modern fire environments contain a complex mix of particulates, vapors, and chemical byproducts where the use of an SCBA is mandatory. However, first responders may still encounter residual combustion materials, off-gassing compounds, and environmental contaminants during post-incident overhaul that may allow traditional negative pressure filter options.
The 3M™ Scott C5-632 Bayonet Adapter provides an intuitive, quarter-turn attachment, enabling the use of proven 3M particulate filters, gas and vapor cartridges, and combination cartridges/filters. This expands the range of available respiratory protection options for departments and agencies using the Vision C5 facepiece, helping to maximize readiness while simplifying training, fit testing, and equipment inventory. Engineered for durability and performance, the adapter helps support mission-critical work where firefighters and other first responders operate in hazardous environments.
