3M™ OEM Match Wide Stream Tips help technicians replicate the appearance of wide or flat seam sealers that were robotically applied at the OEM factory. Used with one-part (1K) and two-part (2K) seam sealers, the tip can be trimmed to control the bead width.
3M™ OEM Match Wide Stream Tips are built to help technicians make repairs to flat or tapered seam sealer applications. With separate versions for one-part and two-part sealants, they work with urethane, MSP, and epoxy seam sealers. They are designed to help technicians match the size, shape, positioning, and texture of robotically-applied OEM seam sealers. The threaded 1K tip allows the tip to be installed without any special tools on any 3M™ aluminum seam sealer cartridge. The 2K version easily attaches to square-barreled 3M™ Static Mixing Nozzles and 1K Sausage pack nozzles. The width, texture, and height of beads can be controlled by trimming the nozzle and adjusting air pressure during application. OEMs often require the technician to replicate the original look and appearance of factory-applied seam sealer. Replicating the robotically applied seam sealer can be challenging and time-consuming. The 3M™ OEM Match Wide Stream Tips make such work faster and easier.
