3M™ Flexile Acoustic Material FAB0910 solves current and future NVH-T challenges by leveraging the synergy between acoustic particles and a fibrous structure to address tire and road noise in a single layer.

Absorber + barrier performance in a single layer

3M FAB0910 combines multiple NVH acoustic properties in a single, non-molded material that is ideal for treating tire and road noise. It can potentially eliminate molding steps – and the costs associated with molding – for an overall lightweight system solution. 3M FAB0910 offers the opportunity to replace multi-layer NVH solutions, such as, EVA and foam, with a single layer material.
High acoustic performance

3M FAB0910 outperforms typical absorbers in the mid frequency range (500-2000 Hz) without sacrificing performance at higher frequencies (>2000Hz). By addressing this difficult to treat range, we help OEMs meet NVH requirements and increase passenger comfort by decreasing tire and road noise.
Thin and lightweight

At only 12 mm, 3M FAB0910 allows you more flexibility in your designs and the potential to increase cabin space. Our material is lighter weight than most typical barriers, which can help increase fuel/range efficiency.
