The 3M EBO 12-fiber ferrules slide smoothly into alignment, letting collimated beams cross between them with no physical contact. This design allows for mating with extremely low mating force, helping enable multiple ferrules to be configured and stacked together in one connection, ideal for data centers as they scale for AI.
