3M™ Tabbing and Splicing Tape AM926J can be used for splicing or as a tabbing tape to the polyethylene film liner of 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape used for automotive exterior trim attachment. This ensures a reliable means of liner removal in a production environment.
Whether tabbing or splicing, 3M™ Tabbing and Splicing Tape AM926J provides reliable performance and excellent adhesion. The polyester backing is an exceptionally thin backing that resists tears, abrasion and the effects of aging. This tape bonds well to polyolefin substrates such as polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP). Polyester-backed tape allows you to splice, insulate, reinforce, protect and seal.
