Versatile and Easy to Operate
The 3M™ Inline Sander is a straight shaft sander used for generating or restoring straightline metal finishes. Available in 3500 rpm — this 1.0 horsepower sander is designed for use with various 3M™, Scotch-Brite™ and Trizact™ flap brushes and belts (PDF, 1.40 Mb). These combine to generate directional finishes and prepare stainless steel and other metals for final finishing, finish to spec, or grind and blend of welds.

In addition, this tool features numerous upgrades that can improve the tool's useful lifespan. A fully machined steel motor housing adds strength and durability in rough applications, while wrench flats and an overhose interface allow for easier maintenance and compatibility with accessories. These features work together to make this a tool that you can rely on every day.
