3M™ Stikit™ Gold Disc 216U is precision-coated for long life and exceptionally smooth auto body finishing. It features light A-weight paper backing with sharp, durable aluminum oxide abrasive – a fast, aggressive cut, yet a uniform finish, ideal for featheredging, primer sanding and scuffing. The disc roll features easy tear-off Stikit™ discs with adhesive backing for fast, easy change-outs.

Sharp Abrasive for a Refined Finish
With its open coat construction and aluminum oxide mineral abrasive, our 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Disc 216U provides a sharp cut — more aggressive than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade — without as much dust accumulating on the disc. And its grades from P600 to P800 along with light A-weight paper backing make it ideal for feather-edging, as a final step before priming or for primer sanding.

Stikit™ Gold Disc 216Uis available with various hole patterns for effective dust extraction.
Resists Dust and Debris
Open coat construction means the abrasive grains on our 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Disc 216U are placed with space between them to help evacuate sanding dust and other debris to avoid clogging the cutting edge of the grains. The load-resistant coating on the abrasive grains also allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding paints and other materials that would otherwise clog the disc and hinder sanding ability. All of this adds up to increased productivity and reduced material consumption.

3M™ Stikit™ disc rolls are multiple adhesive-backed abrasive discs rolled into a tube
The Ease of a Disc Roll, The Speed of Stikit™ Attachment
3M™ Stikit™ disc rolls are multiple adhesive-backed abrasive discs rolled into a tube. This makes them easy to tear off one at a time for speed and efficiency, and there's no need for liners which saves on material costs. These ready-to-use Stikit™ discs feature a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backs — simply press the disc onto the backup pad and you're ready to go. They remove just as cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. A Stikit™ disc should be used with a 3M™ Stikit™ Disc Pad (we suggest 05555, 05556, 05575 or 00576, sold separately) on a random orbital sander.

Better Science for Better Sanding from 3M
Through a combination of science, strength and smoothness — from the abrasive grain to the fast adhesive attachment to the convenient disc roll packaging — our 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Disc 216U is another example of how 3M applies science to life, and makes your collision repair operation better and more efficient.
