3M™ Cloth Sheet 747D is made with a blend of aluminum oxide and 3M™ ceramic grain and is designed for superior metal finishing on a variety of metals including nickel, carbon steel, and stainless steel. Use it for deburring by hand as well as hand finishing of outside diameters on pipe or tubes.

3M™ Cloth Sheet 747D features a semi-flexible X weight cotton backing, which makes it a good match for projects that require an equally durable and malleable abrasive. The backing flexes easily to fit around pipes and tubes, without tearing as easily as paper or losing grit from folding or bending. Tougher applications benefit from the abrasive's grinding aid, which helps it stay cool for longer-lasting performance.
