Long Lasting Performance
3M™ Double Coated Tape 9443NP is a 6 mil tape built on a high density polyethylene (HDPE) carrier.  This strong, lightweight film carrier provides dimensional stability for aid in removal and also provides easier handling during slitting and die-cutting. A 62# densified kraft paper liner improves handling, protects against humidity and is ideal for die-cutting and laminating.

The aggressive synthetic rubber adhesive, 3M Adhesive 760, provides high initial adhesion and is somewhat repositionable for proper placement of bonded materials. It features excellent adhesion to both high surface energy and low surface energy plastics and is an excellent choice for many interior applications such as for bonding polyethylene.

Double Coated Tapes Provide Solutions for Many Bonding Applications
In general, double coated tape is composed of a paper, film, or tissue carrier that is coated on both sides with pressure sensitive adhesive. The adhesive is protected by a peel-away liner that can be removed at the time of application or left in place until the joining surfaces are ready to be attached. These tapes can be applied by hand or with a dispenser. Double coated tape dispensers are available in a variety of configurations ranging from manual to fully automatic. Applications for double coated tape are found in construction, fabrication, arts, and hobby.
