Forward Control Bracket with 3M™ Structural Bonding Tape 9263 is a permanent solution for attaching sensors and cameras to automotive glass. This pre-taped bracket is ready to use, which may help to reduce scrap, in-plant labor and inventory costs. It is compatible with manual and automated manufacturing processes, and commercially available autoclave processes.
Designed to improve automotive plant productivity, Forward Camera Bracket with 3M™ Structural Bonding Tape 9263 may help improve process efficiency by supplying pre-taped components ready for application to windshields. Single- and multi-function brackets are applied at the glass manufacturing facility with this system. The pressure-sensitive adhesive on the structural bonding tape allows for attachment of components immediately upon adhesion to glass. The tape is heat-cured to complete the process of bonding. Tape color changes from black to matte gray after curing.
