Designed to help improve automotive plant productivity, CHMSL Mounting Brackets with 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape deliver center high mount stop lamp brackets pre-taped and ready for long-term application. It features 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT1500, which has been developed specifically for attaching plastic trim and parts to painted automotive surfaces. This combination of tape and bracket can save installation time and help control inventory costs.

Excellent Attachment Tape for Rigid Clear Coat Paint Systems
3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape (PDF, 299.1 Kb) PT1500 features a 1.52 mm acrylic foam core with two different adhesives. The liner side adhesive is formulated for very high initial and final adhesion to scratch and mar-resistant paint systems. The non-liner side adhesive, excellent for bonding to automotive trim and other components, is pre-attached to the CHMSL bracket. The viscoelastic foam core conforms well to complex geometries. It is engineered for stress relaxation when exposed to high stress loads, and maintains bondline aesthetics under normal stress loads. The dark gray color of 3M tape PT1500 is inconspicuous, helping to ensure high levels of satisfaction among consumers. The red, 3M branded liner is silicone-coated on both sides to provide easy one-piece release and efficient tape application.
