Our 3M™ Interam™ Mat Mount 800 is an expanding mat mount with low binder content and increased resiliency to maximize low temperature substrate retention performance. Intumescent mat mount is available in multiple weights and thicknesses for a range of mounting designs, and performs extremely well at low temperature without heat treatment – making is suitable for a wide range of applications.

3M™ Interam™ Mat Mount 800 is a flexible intumescent mat supplied in a single piece configuration for application gaps ranging from 3.5 to 8 mm, and supports a wide range of application temperatures. It is suitable for use in large diameter diesel substrates (especially those substrates with low Coefficient of Thermal Expansion such as cordierite and AT) as well as gas applications. The 800 series is an expanding mat mount with low binder content and increased resiliency to maximize low temperature performance. It is designed to be a cost effective alternative to non-intumescent mats.
