3M™ Nextel™ Fabric BF-20 is woven fabric made from 3M™ Nextel™ 440 Grade continuous filament ceramic oxide fiber that is designed to maintain strength and flexibility under a variety of extremely high temperature conditions. Our Nextel fabric BF-20 outperforms the useful limits of many other high temperature textiles for improved performance in demanding applications.

3M™ Nextel™ Fabric BF-20 is a woven roving from 3M™ Nextel™ 440 high temperature continuous filament ceramic oxide fiber. Due to the properties of Nextel 440 fiber, this product outperforms the useful limits of many other high temperature textiles by being medium weight, electrically insulating and flexible. Nextel fabric BF-20 has low air permeability and is often used as a component in thermal barrier constructions. It is used in combination with other Nextel products such as sewing thread and high temperature materials such as bulk fiber/insulation products to construct thermal barrier components.
