3M™ Nextel™ Fabric BF-30 is woven yarn from 3M™ Nextel™ 440 Grade continuous filament ceramic oxide fiber that is designed to maintain strength and flexibility under a variety of extremely high temperature conditions. Our Nextel fabric BF-30 outperforms the useful limits of many other high temperature textiles for improved performance in demanding applications.

3M™ Nextel™ Fabric BF-30 is designed to meet the toughest thermal, mechanical and electrical performance requirements for applications that require a wide width woven product. Due to the favorable properties of Nextel™ 440 ceramic oxide fiber, our products outperform the useful limits of many other high temperature textiles; they are light weight, electrically insulating and flexible. As a wide fabric, Nextel fabric BF-30 is often used as a component in blankets, pillows and articles that are often filled with high temperature bulk fiber/insulation products. In some cases Nextel fabric BF-30 may be deployed as a lining material directly inside a high temperature structure that has internal insulation.
