Hand Sanding the Details
Meticulous, hand-finished detail often requires taxing hand sanding, so we designed 3M™ Stikit™ Disc Hand Pad to hold a 3M™ Stikit™ Disc to make hand sanding of wood, metal, and fiberglass easier. Fine-tune spots that may need a little extra care, and eliminate any last little sanding marks caused by the power sander.

The pad itself has an impact on your sanding results. For most large or perfectly flat surfaces, the desired surface finish can easily be attained using a soft pad. For jobs where crisp edges are essential, a hard pad is more effective. When sanding a fairly narrow edge, a soft pad will round over the edges very quickly. But a hard pad keeps the edge square and doesn't conform to the edge.

Our 3M™ Stikit™ Attachment
The 3M™ Stikit™ system was designed for convenient changes between abrasive grades or applications. 3M™ Stikit™ abrasives come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to the hand pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. Yet they remove cleanly without adhesive residue left on the hand pad. This makes for very fast change-outs, saving time, and prolongs the life of abrasives.

3M Science for Better Sanding
Our 3M™ Stikit™ Disc Hand Pads are another example of how 3M applies science to life. From their varied sizes and densities to their compatibility with our time- and money-saving Stikit™ attachment, our Stikit™ Disc Hand Pads demonstrate our commitment to adding comfort and higher efficiency to your operations and getting the job done right.
