We formulated 3M™ Adhesion Promoter AC-137 to enhance adhesion of polysulfide sealants to windshields, canopies and windows without damaging vulnerable substrates. Available in clear or red, AC-137 contains mixed solvents blended with a surface activator agent that produces a robust adhesion promoter. Maximizing adhesion for aircraft sealants creates long-term benefits and extended service life.

3M™ Adhesion Promoter AC-137 in either red or clear versions. Our red formula helps facilitate processes that require a visual aid to ensure coverage while our clear formula is ideal for transparent substrates such as glass or acrylic. This product is formulated for optimal performance as an adhesion promoter for 3M™ Aerospace Sealant AC-251 when used on polycarbonate, acrylic, glass, metal and/or solvent resistant coatings. It contains mixed solvents blended with a surface activator agent to produce a highly effective adhesion promoter.

3M™ Adhesion Promoter AC-137 may be applied to clean surfaces with gauze or a brush prior to application of polysulfide sealants for windshields, canopies and windows. AC-137 allows for faster initial adhesion build rate of polysulfide sealant to help reduce your process time. Our one component product needs no mixing for easy application.
