Accessories for grounding and sealing.
3M™ TS II Family Wet Silicone Terminations are designed to fit different cable sizes requiring a voltage rating up to 123 kV and are built for projects requiring 650 kV BIL performance levels. The wet type termination works to terminate underground, solid dielectric cables made with copper or aluminum conductors of varying sizes, up to 1750 kcmil (850 mm2). Each piece is crafted from a hydrophobic silicone material to protect against external environmental factors, making it less sensitive to earthquakes, vibrations and temperature change. These terminations are 1/3 the weight of porcelain terminations, which makes them easier to carry, handle and install – without the need for special tools. Use them with numerous types of cable, including tape over wire (TOW), wire over tape (WOT), tape shield (TS), longitudinally corrugated (LC) shield, jacketed concentric neutral (JCN) or lead shield (LS). As an added bonus, 3M TS II Family terminations can be installed vertically or horizontally for versatile use on jobs. You need dependable, quality parts for your high voltage projects, so choose Wet Silicone Terminations by 3M when it comes to your 123 kV needs.
