Scotch® Super 33+™ Vinyl Electrical Tape is a professional-grade tape that provides electrical insulation for low to high-voltage wires and cables rated up to 600V, with a total thickness of 7 mil (0.178 mm) when applied. This tape is designed with a pressure-sensitive rubber resin adhesive and elastic PVC backing, providing electrical and mechanical protection for a variety of applications. It is known for its versatility, excelling in solid dielectric cable insulation, synthetic cable insulations, jackets, rubber and synthetic splicing compounds, as well as wire and cable harnessing. In critical indoor and outdoor environments, this tape conforms to irregular shapes to create a secure seal on electrical connections and other essential tasks. Its durability allows it to withstand various weather conditions, making it a reliable solution for long-lasting performance. With excellent insulation and adhesion properties, the tape can be used within temperatures from 0 °F to 221 °F (-18 °C to 105 °C), meeting the requirements for flame retardancy. Scotch® Super 33+™ Vinyl Electrical Tape is UL 510 Listed, CSA C22.2 No.197 and VDE Mark Certificate no. 130462; Type 7: IEC 60454-3-1-7/F-PVCP/90 Certified, IEC 60454-3-1-7/F-PVCP/90, and RoHS Compliant. Consider this tape for your next industrial application.

Scotch® Super 33+™ Vinyl Electrical Tape, along with the other products in this family, showcases decades of proven, lab-tested innovation. These high-performance electrical solutions are designed to address the daily challenges customers encounter. 3M is committed to delivering high-performance products that help customers enhance application efficiency and effectiveness, featuring aggressive backings and adhesives designed to withstand extreme temperatures and moisture. For best installation practices, apply in half-lapped layers with enough tension to create a uniform wrap. For most applications, when applied properly, this tension will reduce the tape width to approximately 5/8 of its original size. When taping pigtail splices, wrap the tape beyond the ends of the wires and then fold it back to provide a protective cushion against cut-through. For the final wrap, apply the tape without tension to help prevent flagging. Learn more about how Scotch® Super 33+™ Vinyl Electrical Tape can elevate your electrical applications.
