Scotch® Tape Splice Kit 5717 provides inline and tee splicing. It is suitable for use on 5 to 15 kV tape shield, wire shield or UniShield® cables with aluminum or copper conductors. This kit includes two rolls of Scotch® Semi-Conducting Tape 13, 10 rolls of Scotch® 130C, one coil of 3M™ Scotch® Grounding Braid 25, three rolls of Scotch® Shielding Braid and more.

Scotch® Tape Termination Kits 5700 Series are designed to terminate solid dielectric shielded power cables rated 5–25/28 kV with tape shield, wire shield, UniShield® and concentric neutral (CN) construction in weather-protected areas. They can be upgraded to Class 1 (indoors only) with the use of Scotch® Silicone Rubber Electrical Tape 70 (see kit instructions). Lugs are not included and must be ordered separately.
