How 3M Defines Diversity, Inclusion and Equity

  • Ways people differ from each, physically, socially, and psychologically

The ways people differ from each other physically, socially and psychologically. We appreciate the wide array of perspectives, abilities, experiences and personalities that make each individual unique.

  • Safe environments to engage and participate

An environment where individuals feel safe to engage and participate fully because they feel respected, comfortable to express their ideas, and valued for their unique voice and abilities.

  • Advancing systems and processes to counteract social inequities and barriers

A guarantee of fair treatment, access, opportunity and advancement we provide for all individuals by advancing systems and processes that counteract social inequities and prevent additional barriers from forming.
