3M Open

As title sponsor of the PGA TOUR’s 3M Open, we bring fans and communities together through world-class golf, family-friendly experiences, and a purpose-driven mission. Since its inception in 2019, the 3M Open has raised over $8.5 million for local organizations — making a difference where we work and live.

Our commitment to the 3M Open extends beyond golf. It’s a platform to showcase how 3M Science improves lives — from Automotive, Aerospace, Data and Robotics innovations to next-generation adhesives used in sports, electronics and more. We’re proud to extend our partnership through 2030, ensuring continued impact and innovation.

Official Science Partner of the Minnesota Vikings

3M is proud to be the Official Science Partner of the Minnesota Vikings, a collaboration that blends innovation, community, and hometown spirit. During the construction of U.S. Bank Stadium, more than 50 3M products played a role in bringing the venue to life — from adhesives and films to personal safety equipment and building materials.

Today, our partnership goes beyond the field to support all fans, including those with sensory needs. The 3M Sensory Room inside the stadium provides a calming, inclusive environment designed to ensure every fan can enjoy the game comfortably. Together, 3M and the Vikings are redefining what it means to create a world-class, accessible fan experience. From the roof to the field, 3M is an integral part of the game day experience.

Annika Intercollegiate

In partnership with golf legend Annika Sörenstam, the Annika Intercollegiate empowers the next generation of women golfers. This elite collegiate event highlights 3M’s ongoing support for equity in sports and leadership development on and off the course.

Latin America Amateur Championship

We proudly support this championship as a way to grow the game of golf and inspire emerging talent across Latin America. The event celebrates both competition and community — values 3M holds at the core of every partnership.

Consumer Electronics Show (CES)

Each year at CES, we showcase how 3M technologies are shaping the future — from automotive innovation and smart homes to sustainability and advanced manufacturing.

In 2025, 3M was honored with "Best in Show" by Exhibitor Magazine for our immersive, design-forward booth experience. CES is more than a trade show — it’s a space where we connect with global leaders and Media, demonstrate the breadth of 3M’s expertise, and highlight how 3M Science solves real-world challenges.

Inspiring the next generation

3M Young Scientist Challenge

In partnership with Discovery Education, the 3M Young Scientist Challenge is a nationwide competition that invites middle school students to tackle real-world problems through science and innovation. Finalists receive mentorship from 3M scientists to help bring their ideas to life.

This program sparks curiosity, confidence, and creative problem-solving in tomorrow’s changemakers — showing students that with science, anything is possible.

SkillsUSA

Through our partnership with SkillsUSA, 3M supports hands-on learning and workforce readiness for high school and college students pursuing careers in skilled trades.
