Nice, but...limited use in graphics
Got ot because of slowly deteriorating hand capacity. Pretty cool, doesnt take long to get used to enough to work with it. Yeah...work with it. Doesnt set "scroll" within Photoshop, so scroll zooming is gone. Not good.
Also an option for a stickier base (sticker?) would be nice to help tame the cursor when you hand is subject to small nerve movements.
I'll keep playing...

Horrible lag time and very "choppy" operation
I've used this mouse for years beacuse it's the only one that doesn't make my hand hurt over time... Then one day it started laggingreal bad and being so "choppy" that it is hard to select discreet things on the screen with it. I thought it was broke so I bought a new one and it does the same thing. I thought it might need an updated driver but there are no drivers available... It's so frustrating to try to select things on the screen with it that I can't even use it anymore. (when trying to select something, or click a button on the screen, it constantly overshoots the selections so you have to try and try again to finally get it to stop on whatever you are trying to select)...

A brilliant product
I suffered mildly from RSI in my right wrist due to computer graphics and table tennis. I bought an ergonomic mouse as soon as they became available and have had one with each of my computers since. No more pain or cramps. As a consequence of Covid lockdown, I did a heap of computing and practiced table tennis against a robot (it always won). RSI set in and I recently had a carpal tunnel operation. The surgeon said there were decades of scar tissue he had to remove but as I experienced no problems until Covid I was unaware of this. Two problems only: drop it on the floor and 50% chance thr stem will come off the base. Araldite fixes it for a few years but it is a basic weakness. Second problem was Windows 10 on just one computer did not recognise it. I tried a dozen times to get Windows to check or download drivers etc. Went to lunch, came back and it was all running - crap interface on Windows.

Good for carpal tunnel, but...
I had horrible carpal tunnel and was seriously considering surgery before I received this mouse. Great for ergonomics, but I am having trouble with sensitivity. Either that or the infrared is not tracking correctly. Is ther a drive specifically for this mouse?

Best Ergo mouse I have ever used!!!
I have been using this mouse ever since 3M began manufacturing it. I was privileged to get a "test" version of the product many years ago before full manufacture of the current product was available when 3M sent out the product to me for assessment and review. I am a practicing Occupational therapist and Hand Therapy specialist. When 3M sent the product to me I followed the instructions exactly, using it for two weeks exclusively. It did have a learning curve of about 2 weeks but it was worth it. Every product has it's problems but this one had the least problems ergonomically and was (is) the most comfortable ergonomic mouse I have ever used. I purchased and own 3 of them now and recommend them to everyone!

What happened to my favorite mouse2
I use this type of mouse severall years with much pleasure. This is my third mouse of this type. However, this year, only problems. My mouse fell from the table, and was broken. I purchased a new one. From that moment, I have constantly problems with the top button. It keeps 'hanging' after clicking. I 've got a new one from the store. Same problem!!!

What happened to my favorite mouse?
I have been a huge fan of this mouse for years. I had a wired version for work and when it finally broke, I upgraded to the wireless version. This mouse does not work with Windows 10! When I try to use it on my brand new Dell laptop, the lag time is so poor, that it renders the mouse unusable. I have tried adjusting the mouse pointer speeds, to no avail. I am distraught that I invested all of this money only to abandon my brand new mouse.

Perfect Mouse
I switched to this mouse about 7 years ago, when I developed a pain in my wrist. I discovered the pain resulted from moving the mouse with my wrist my instead of moving it with my elbow and shoulder. Despite trying I could not change this habit with the conventional mouse - so I changed my mouse to the 3M Ergo mouse. It took a day or 2 to adjust, and because I had to learn to use this mouse from scratch I also learned to move it with a combination of elbow and shoulder movement. I have never looked back and the pain in my wrist disappeared. A wonderful device which I would recommend to anyone.
