The 3M™ Finesse-It™ Felt Buffing Pad range is designed for traditional buffing applications and delivers more aggression than foam pads. Designed for use with Finesse-It™ Polishes.

Remove Defects, Sand Scratches, and Swirl Marks Identifiable by its red and white design, with the 3M wordmark stamped on its backing, the 3M™ Finesse-it™ Buffing Pad comes in both 3- and 5-inch diameters. Achieve best results on a variety of clearcoats using the 3-inch pad when running between 3,000 and 6,000 rpm on a rotary polisher or between 10,000 – 12,000 rpm on a random orbital polisher. The 5-inch buffing pad should run between 3,000 – 6,000 rpm on a rotary polisher or between 10,000 – 12,000 rpm on a random orbital polisher. Securely Attached for Better Buffing This pad is manufactured with the 3M™ Hookit™ attachment system for quick pad attachment and removal. Hookit™ buffing pads conveniently and firmly attach to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad (sold separately) on rotary or random orbital tools, can be removed cleanly and easily, and can be re-used again and again for the life of the pad. Finish results depend on the combination of coating type, polish and tools used. Science of Shine Finesse-it™ products are a line of specially engineered abrasives, compounds, polishes, and buffing pads for use on OEM and baked refinish paints to remove imperfections, sand scratches, or swirl marks on a variety of painted surfaces. Finesse-it products are an integral part of the 3M recommended buffing system for repairing surface defects to clear coats, lacquered wood, solid surfaces, gelcoat, powder coat, industrial paint, acrylic, and glass.
